You can create three different kinds of Zoom meetings in Collab:
- Recurring meeting using weekly or daily recurrence
- Recurring meeting with "no fixed time" recurrence
- Individual "non-recurring" meetings
Recurring meeting using weekly or daily recurrence
This type of meeting occurs at specific times and days that you select when creating (or editing) the meeting. These meetings are ideal for regularly scheduled classes.
- Students use the same meeting ID or link each time to join the meeting.
- The recordings are automatically named the title of the meeting plus the date and time (e.g. "My Meeting 03-30-20")
- See How do I rename my cloud recordings?
Recurring meeting with "no fixed time" recurrence
This type of meeting can be used at any time. You as the host can open it whenever you would like for office hours, group meetings, etc.
Individual "non-recurring" meetings
This type of meeting is scheduled for one specific date and time. It is best for meetings that are scheduled ahead of time and will only occur once (e.g. an individual meeting with a student).
